Laser vein treatments with excel HRâ„¢
Treat facial veins & redness and non-varicose veins on the body. Our excel HRâ„¢ laser safely and effectively treats both tiny superficial veins and deeper veins on all skin tones.
The Cutera excel HR™ laser delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, the vessel dies and is eventually re-absorbed by the body. Blood flow is usually re-directed to larger vessels below the skin’s surface, exactly where it should be.
excel HRâ„¢ is FDA & CE approved and is a safe and effective treatment. 1064 or NdYag Laser is the ONLY laser that truely, effectively treats veins.
We have lots of wonderful photos and videos of client results that we'd love to show you in clinic.
Laser vein removal FAQ
How does laser vein therapy work?
The laser delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body. Blood flow is then redirected to veins deeper below your skin's surface - where it should be.
Who can be treated with the Cutera laser?
Cutera features a unique laser design and long wavelength that allows treatment of patients of all skin tones. Book in for a consult in clinic so we can discuss if laser vein therapy is right for you.
What types of veins can be treated?
The Cutera laser removes veins from all over the body. Small facial veins can be treated quickly without bruising or complication. Spider veins and large blue leg veins can be treated with excellent results. Varicose veins are not a good candidate for laser. Visit us in clinic for a skin consult and we can assess the best course of laser treatment for you.
How many treatments will I need?
Often one or two treatments are sufficient. The number of treatments required depends of the number, colour and size of the veins being treated. Individual results will vary.
What does laser vein treatment feel like?
Most patients experience a stinging sensation as the pulses of light are delivered - like a rubber band snapping against the skin. Anaesthetic is not required for the treatment but some patients opt to have a topical anaesthetic prior to treatment. Post-treatment ranges from a mild discomfort to non-existent.
